2023年11月30日至12月12日，第28届结合国天气转变大会在阿联酋迪拜世博城举办。设计学院工艺美术系陶瓷艺术专任教师祁吉的作品《Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom》历经多轮遴选，入围本届天气转变大会主题展“Nature Footprints”，并于大会的蓝区展示。 [本文来自：www.11jj.com]
1992年首届结合国情况与成长会议迄今，每年都邑举办天气转变大会。大会旨在实现大志勃勃的天气方针，将全球升温掌握在工业化前水平的1.5摄氏度以内，增加对成长中国度的天气融资，并紧要扩大对天气适应的投资，这是因为跟着天气危机日益恶化，需求也在络续增加。
本次会议涵盖三个国际公约缔约国会议，包含《结合国天气转变纲要公约》 第28次缔约国会议、《毂下议定书》第18次缔约国会议（CMP18）及《巴黎协定》 第5次缔约国会议（CMA5）。
会场设置蓝、绿两区，个中蓝区是由结合国天气转变框架公约秘书处治理的区域，向有资格的缔约方和视察员代表开放。在蓝区主办为期两周的会议正式商洽，以及世界天气动作峰会、列国的国度馆、主席团运动和数百场边会运动，包罗小组商议、圆桌会议和文化运动。
绿区是由东道国阿联酋治理的区域，向所有人开放。绿区供应..，以便青年整体、民间社会、非当局组织、私营部门和原居民群体等能够发出本身的声音，促进天气动作的对话和熟悉。
“Nature Footprints” 主题展是情况和平扶植协会(EnPAx)、日内瓦和平扶植..向导的情况、天气、辩说与和平实践社区 (ECCP) 及其 #PeaceAtCOP28 社区之间的合作项目。
该展览项目于2023年5月开启全球征稿，由项目..审查报名者创作样本，并商议考查其与天气有关的辩说影响或情况和平扶植相关议题，在半年内经由四轮遴选，最终来自14个国度的18位艺术家脱颖而出，他们的创作类型包罗绘画、影像、手工艺、音乐、诗歌等，我院教师祁吉为中国区域独一的入选艺术家。

《Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom》

《Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom》是一件陶瓷雕塑作品，完全由瓷土制成，瓷土是一种细腻的介质，以具有挑战性而著名。该作品是一株奶蓟草的复成品，其颜色来自于烧制过程中到场的草木灰。在中国，使用草木灰作为釉料是一种非常传统的做法，对艺术家而言，它象征着无数植物的汇聚与联结。
奶蓟草因其解毒的药用功能而著名。瓷花潇洒而细腻，披发着平宁的气息。同时，它也与中国成语 "百花齐放"有异曲同工之妙。在英语中，"百花齐放"常被误引为短语 "let a thousand flowers bloom"（让一千朵鲜花盛开），而在中国，这一短语用于鼓励公家对话和文化争执，更正确的翻译是 "let a hundred flowers blossom; let a hundred schools of thought contend"（让百花齐放，百家争鸣）。
该件作品以一朵花为象征载体，抒发对分享与阐述自我概念的神往与追求，从而达到一个更可持续、更和平的世界。
Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom is a ceramic sculpture made entirely of porcelain, a delicate medium that is renowned for being challenging to work with. The sculpture is an exact replica of a milk thistle plant, and gets its colour from wood ash incorporated in the firing process. Using wood ash as a glaze is a highly traditional and ongoing practice in China, and for Qi it symbolises the convergence of countless plants: akin to a form of collective offering.
The milk thistle is known for its detoxifying medicinal properties. Floating and delicate, the porcelain flower exudes a sense of calm. But it also speaks to the Chinese saying "Bai Hua Qi Fang" (百花齐放). Commonly misquoted in English as the idiom “let a thousand flowers bloom”, the phrase was first used in China in the 1950s to encourage public conversation and cultural debate, and is more accurately translated “let a hundred flowers blossom; let a hundred schools of thought contend”.
Today, the phrase has many connotations, including the societal peace and cultural abundance that can come if a diversity of people are encouraged to share and debate their views. To many, the phrase means “let a hundred types of people argue”. Through the symbol of a flower, this sculpture invites us all to speak up, welcoming an abundance of views as we create a more sustainable and peaceful world. [1]

他的艺术作品曾多次在中国和意大利普遍展出，他率领大学生和高原社区合作斥地可生物降解材料和立异设计，以支撑本地的可持续成长。
他的作品商量了故里及更远区域的文化和生态问题，经常经由一些微妙而诙谐的叙事来描述社会现状，以及人与天然的协调共处，以表达对故里的回忆，以及与大天然共生的家庭故事。好比在《回家规划》项目中，他的祖父知道若何行使山谷中的芦苇植物导航，找到回家的路。当看到本身这一代人在大城市中已经迷失了自我，艺术家想知道他们是否能够，而且若何才能找回一种更陈旧、关联更慎密的生存体式。
Qi Ji is a ceramicist from China, whose extensive body of work has been widely exhibited in both China and Italy. In 2017, Qi graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where he studied decorative art in their visual arts department. Qi is currently an Assistant Professor at Nanjing University of the Arts in Jiangsu, where he works with university students and mountain communities to develop biodegradable ceramic materials and innovative designs in support of sustainable livelihoods.
Qi Ji’s art explores cultural and ecological issues in his home region and further afield, often telling subtle and humorous stories about how his country works while exploring what a harmonious coexistence between people and nature could look like. Among his collections is the CopyCity series, which recreates hidden landscapes in the city using a high-precision molding process.
Qi’s work is infused with memories of home and family stories of lives lived alongside nature. His grandfather knew how to find his way home using just the valley’s reed plants for navigation. Seeing his own generation losing themselves in big cities, Qi wonders whether, and how, they can find their way back to an older, more connected way of being. [2]
展览竣事后，“Nature Footprints”将进行全球巡回展出，同时在在线虚拟画廊中呈现更普遍的艺术作品，为全球观众供应介入全球问题对话的机会。经由艺术作为“通用语”，该艺术项目试图在政策、艺术之间竖立关联，使决议者可以懂得社区的实际情形，放大受天气辩说影响的社区的声音。项目焦点主张包罗强调决议者需认识社区生活实际、强调履历天气辩说和介入情况和平扶植的个别有主要故事分享、认为全球社区能够从错误和实践中进修、并强调艺术是分享观点和信息的有效体式。
本次参展履历对联袂共建全人类的可持续成长与和平社会发出了强有力的呼吁，显现了设计学院近年来跨学科、跨文化的多元化教授思路和科学研究，同时也是南京艺术学院《扶植中华民族现代文明南艺动作纲要》“世界文明互鉴交流规划”的主要国外实践。将来，学院将持续环绕校“13510”事业成长计谋结构，以“设计”为媒，慢慢提拔学科扶植的国际影响力，拓展国际合作，鞭策文明互鉴，以艺术设计之名络续助力世界和平文化建构、流传中国和平之声。
